Mission: Impossible (Giveaway)

Your mission - should you choose to accept it - is to share with us your favorite movie moment from the Mission: Impossible movie franchise starring Tom Cruise.

Maybe it was the scene in Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol filmed in Dubai or perhaps it was a scene from an earlier film in the series?

My personal favorite scene (which can be found in the official Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol Shooting Diary, as opposed to the film) can be found at the very beginning of the book where you see Tom Cruise sitting, comfortably and with true confidence, on top of the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khlaifa in Dubai.

David James, an award-winning photographer who was invited to join the IMF team by Tom Cruise, was there in Dubai, Los Angeles, Vancouver and Prague to document every moment of principal production with the stars of the latest Mission: Impossible film. The Shooting Diary is a remarkable, visual record of these extraordinary stunts and exotic locations - the features that make Mission: Impossible one of the most exciting film series in history.

About the Shooting Diary: In true diary format, the book begins in Los Angeles in September 2010, and shares still images, many which were specifically shot for this book, in the order they were taken. Down to the second that each photograph was captured, David James narrates each shot, explaining how the picture was taken, allowing readers and movie-goers to truly get a feel for the intense schedule the cast and crew were subject to during the six months of filming.

About the Film: In Ghost Protocol, Tom Cruise returns in the starring role as Ethan Hunt and is joined by an international cast that includes Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Paula Patton, Michael Nyqvist, Vladimir Mashkov, Josh Holloway, Anil Kapoor and Léa Seydoux. Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol is directed by Brad Bird, in his live action film debut, and written by Appelbaum & André Nemec.

  2. I too will confess the same thing as the person above but I've only seen MI one. My favorite scene from MI one, hmmm I'm not sure I can pick just one. It was one big keep you guessing type of movie. I did love the ending though.

  3. Tom Cruise still makes me feel like a school girl! I will be going to see this in the theatre - perfect date night for old married couples like us - hubby gets the action and I get to look into Tom's eyes on the big screen. I wonder if there will be any awesome free style rock climbing. My fav scene of all the MI movies.

  5. For me, my favorite scene is in Mission: Impossible 3! The bridge scene battle! When it comes to a break out scene, I had never really seen anything like it! It was done very well I thought!
